About Us

Katie aka "Snow White" is our Vice President. She has been extremely instrumental in helping with every aspect of the rescue over the years, she has a true knack with the critters. She helped raise several of our non-releasable opossums & raccoons. She is greatly valued & appreciated! 

Casie has been with us for a few years. She came to us after finding an opossum that needed help and brought him to us. She  was interested in rehabbing & the rest is history. She is hands on in just about every aspect of the rescue, has great organizational skills & rocks when it comes to setting up cozy cages for all the critters. Groot is one of her favorites and she handles him at our events. We are lucky that opossum needed help & she found us. She is a valued & appreciated team member!

Kim came to one of our events & then contacted me about bringing some food for the critters. She then came by periodically and we got to know her more. When she retired she got her license & joined our team. She is hands on with all the critters and helped to raise Francis aka Pipsqueak who she loves & they have a very special bond. 

She helps wherever she can and is another valued & appreciated rehabber!

Kaitlyn is our Social Media Manager. She has great ideas for our website, TicTok, and Instagram. We value & appreciate her talents in social media very much. She is also a licensed rehabber, so she helps out with the critters as well. We are lucky to have her as part of our team!

Amy has been with us the longest, but now that she has two grandbabies, we don't get to see her much. She still helps when she can, does our WBRR t-shirts, some jewelry, and other merchandise. She also helps at events which is awesome. As with our other team members she is valued & appreciated!

Margaret is new and still learning, but she loves the critters & isn't afraid of hard work. Her willingness to learn is a great attribute to her as a rehabber and we greatly appreciate it! She loves all the critters, but the raccoons are her favorite.

Brooke is also new & learning. She loves animals & on top of being a rehabber she often fosters dogs. Even though she can't give much time, doesn't mean we don't appreciate the time and hard work she does give the opossums. She is working on getting her pre exposure rabies vaccines so she can also work with raccoons. She is a valued & appreciated team member!

Alex was new this baby season. As with all the others she loves animals. Unfortunately for us, her husband got orders for Hawaii so she will finish out this year and then move on to another chapter. In the meantime, we will keep her busy when she's here. We value & appreciate all her help for the time she has with us!

Michelle just recently got her license & there is no doubt that her first love is raccoons.  She lives farther away from our rescue, but is a hard worker when she comes to help. And she always brings treats for the critters which they truly appreciate. We are so glad to welcome her as part of our team!
